Flag tape on the trees you want to keep makes the walk-through quick and keeps the right ones standing.
Know your lines
If you have a survey, keep it handy. Corner pins and stakes show exactly where the clearing stops.
Red clay after rain
After a hard rain, red clay turns slick. Track machines handle it better than wheels, but a day of drying keeps ruts out of your lot.
