A compact track loader with a mulching head works through palmetto, scrub oak, vines and small pines and grinds them into chips on the spot.
There’s no burn pile to babysit and nothing to truck away.
It suits trails, fence lines, hunting land, right-of-way and lots that only need the underbrush gone.
The mulch left behind covers bare dirt and helps hold sandy soil while grass comes back.
When the plan is a slab or a driveway, a full clear and grade is usually the better fit, and we’ll tell you so.

Expect a layer of chips across the ground. It breaks down over time and keeps the dirt from washing.
Stumps stay low
Mulching cuts stumps off near the ground, not out of it. Building soon? Ask about full stump removal.
Best for the in-between
Too much for a bush hog and not ready for a full clear and grade: that’s where mulching earns its keep.
